In the game of "Slugbug" do the new VW Beetles count as a "Slugbug"?

I have heard that you don't count the new VW Beetles as "Slugbugs"

I don't even count them as cars.

I gotta go with yes on this one. I would think that any VW with an insect style and name should be counted as a slugbug. Make sure you slug extra hard for it though!

I personally look at the newer style Bug as a Lady Bug.

We play slug bug when we are in the car and we count the new ones also.
After all they are bugs ;-)
