I don't think they're evil but I sure wouldn't want one to land next to me on a park bench. I think it's because you can tell they're smart behind those eyes of theirs. Smart in a way that makes you imagine they're calculating how long until you keel over dead and they can...oops sorry, those are just the crows in my nightmares. Yeah, they scare me, but not so much that I'll go out of my way to avoid them the way I do spiders.

No, I like them. They're just another bird, but larger than many others.
I remember a pet crow from my childhood which sat on a telephone line in front of the local general store. He would fly down when I got out of the car to go inside, and hop over to me, sort of making grumbling sounds, trying to "talk" and be friendly. He did scare me at that age, but just as I was getting used to him being there and wanting to play and be fed when we went to the store, we found out someone shot him. I hated that. He was harmless. He was really smart and had quite a personality. I won't ever forget him and can't think of crows except as being intelligent and playful.

Hmmm. I like them, but I can see why you are afraid of them. I feel that way about snakes. I am terrified, but don't think they are evil. That is a strong term reserved for my monster in law...oh, i mean mother in law.
Isn't that a crow perched on your windowsill??? LOL J/K : )
