when i heat my sandwich from subway in the microwave it's barely warm but the pickles are as hot as molten lava and stick to my lip.

cause u don't nuke pickles-somethings just can't go in a microwave- pickles r 1 of them-remove the pickles-nuke the sandwich until it's hot-the heat from the sandwich will warm your pickles just enough - your tongue stays in perfect condition 4 better things besides eating subway!

microwaves work on the basis of reverberating water molecules to the point at wich they cause friction to creat heat. pickles are the most watery part of the sandwich therefore the most heat and friction occur around the pickles juices.

because they have more moisture. try taking the pickles off before heating either that or wear some extra thick chap stick before biting into your sandwich.

pickles are very thin and the bread is dense, so the pickles will heat up MUCH faster than the bread.

I don't know, I never heat my subs unless there meatball or steak subs!
Maybe when you apply heat to pickles they get horny and wanna stick to your lip?

pickles have less density and therefore will absorb more heat, then say, meat.
