I agree with everyone 8-10 hours. If they don't get enough sleep their anxiety levels could go up they, do poorer on test and classwork and end up sleeping in class.

I try to do it for 4 hours on a school night, followed by 8 hours of sleep.

She needs at least 8-10 hrs of sleep! If adults need at least 8 hrs than a 10 yr old girl would need that plus some!!!

hi there I have a 13 year old during school days in bed by at less 9:30pm they need at less 7 to 8 hrs sleep. also take in count how the child behaves in school her habits at home my daughter when she mishave her bed time is early to bed no tv no nothing, in her room . it's when they reach 13 and up that we start to really worried. now during friday saturday and saturday to sunday bedtime no later then 11pm. unless there is a family party but still rest is a must for a child health. in your case your child is 10 . on sundays to bed at 9pm due to the fact that she stood longer hours up during the weekend.

If you mean sleep then I would say 8to9hrs.
However my 12 yr old only sleeps for about 7
but she's in bed for 8 or 9 reading or looking at magazines for an hour.I keep telling her she needs more sleep but I guess she knows how much sleep she needs.

i'd say about 8-10 so in the morning for school shes awake and not half asleep.
