The original pistons cannot be found anywhere - those are discontinued by Honda and no online or local parts store has it. The bore is 71mm std so there must be some other (preferably from japanese motorcycle or car) piston which will fit in the VT500 (maybe after some machine work on it). I need new pistons, so the bone yards are not an option..

Note that many online shops and sites show the piston and ringset in the part search as available, but it is not, if you try to order you receive the "sorry, discontinued" answer..

One more thing - I need only two pistons so custom made pistons by wiseco, silvolite, etc. are not an option because they will not produce less than 8 or so pistons...

13102-MF5-000 piston. 13021-MF5-003 ring.

It shows them on the website I look parts up on.
These are the 0.25 mm oversize numbers.
Would suspect you need to bore it if its worn enough to need pistons.

EDIT*********************

Bummer. Maybe have them make you 8 and sell
6 sets on ebay or ?

If its time for pistons then you probably need a complete rebuild. Try finding a parts bike thats been wrecked, its cheaper than buying parts from honda.
