If you have already opened an Item not received claim than you will want to escalate it. Go to My EBay > Dispute Console and follow the instructions. If you have any problems contact Live Chat from the home page. A lot of people complain about not getting any help from eBay but the easiest way to get help is by using Live Chat. In the future ensure the seller had good feedback and use Pay Pal or a CC so you have more recourse if the seller does not send the item

Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry that you ended up having such a bad experience. I love using eBay and it is awful when it doesn't work out the way it should.
That being said, good frickin' luck getting through to anyone at eBay. Notice how there is NO phone number ANYWHERE for you to contact a live person. I had an eBay malfunction on one of my auctions once and kept trying to fix the problem on my own, and begged eBay repeatedly for help. (I probably sent 15 emails over a two day period). That was two years ago. I have NEVER received any sort of response whatsoever from anyone.... and believe me, I tried.
Can you stop payment the money orders or were they cashed already? What's the value of these items? Is it worth it to pursue? If so, I would consider finding a very inexpensive or free legal service who can subpoena the seller's file/records from eBay. While eBay is probably precluded from turning over the seller's file/records to you, generally, producing the records pursuant to a lawful subpoena will be more difficult for them to ignore. At a minimum, they'll have to provide a written response or show up in court and explain why they cannot and will not comply with the subpoena. Once you get the seller's information, initiate either a civil action for breach of contract or bring a small claims court matter. Or just again find a reasonably priced or free legal service and have them send a demand letter via personal delivery or certified mail to the seller threatening litigation if they do not refund your money or provide the goods.
If you have the time and the energy and you're out a good amount of money, it would certainly be worth it to fight.
Best of luck to you! And while hindsight is always 20/20, I highly recommend using a credit/debit card or PayPal in the future. They are not flawless methods, either, but at least you could dispute the charge and you'd probably have a better chance of getting your money back.

It depends on how much your total cost was. You can try to email them but they probably will not answer. If your total cost minus shipping is $25 or more eBay will repay you a small portion but not a lot. You can try looking up the sellers personal info and see if they have a phone number listed, if they do you can try calling it. It's sad to say but you may just have to write it off. i love eBay and do a lot of business on there, but unfortunately there are some really bad sellers out there and sometimes people get taken.
If i were you i'd try to get the sellers personal info and call them. If that does not work then just let eBay do their thing and hopefully they will be able to resolve it.
Good luck and I hope you get the products or at least some of your money back.

If the money order hasn't been cashed you could get it recalled or whatever they call it but I doubt they haven't already cashed it in. However you may want to find out anyway.
Sending another email at this stage seems like a waste of time, if they're no longer a registered member it's likely they got on their, did their dodgey stuff and got the account closed, wouldn't be surprised if that's done it before. As to whether they can track them down based on their email address depends a bit on whether they were using their own one supplied by their ISP and it's doubtful they would have done that.

I would go ahead and email the seller directly, threatening a lawsuit if s/he doesn't respond.
Do you still have the address as to where you sent the money order?
I would also go ahead and send another dispute claim to Ebay.

well thats the risk of bidding, next time you need to contact the seller and if possible get his phone number before you send the money. proud is every where. try to research about the identity of the seller using his email address and if you are lucky you can find his address and phone number too. use the member search of every email providers, social site like friendster, search the ip address of the seller using the email he had mailed to you.

o.k first check if he took your money first if he didn't then it's o.k and if he did, the he could go to jail and you can sue eBay, send a e-mail to eBay and treaten them that you are going to sue them, or send the guy a card and lie to him and write that eBay has your information and where you leave and if he doesn't give you your money or the thing that you bought back he is going to jail.
