I am only asking this question because I have no insurance and just would like some answers. Recently for about, well this is the second day that my stomach have been hurting. Its my upper abdominal area. I dont know what is going on. I have been late since december, and the doctors gave me the pill to start back my period and I started this pill last sunday. I dont know if this could be the pill side affects, but it is really hurting. This pain is very strong. I cant even stand up straight, or walk straight. At first I thought it was something i ate(becasue both times it hurt I ate something before) but then realized it could be the pill. If it is what can I take to help the pain? I am so confused because it is making me think I could be pregnant because I never had a blood test, but I doubt it I took alot of test from planned parenthood which are negative. Please help, serious answers only. Thank you

What kind of pain is it? Shooting, stabbing, aching, throbbing? What seems to make it worse (you haven't totally ruled out activities or food)? What seems to make it better? If you are experiencing pain in your upper right abdomen, and it gets worse after eating, feels like major stomach cramps, and makes you short of breath, this would be positive for cholelithiasis (gallstones). Women are more prone to this, especially if you have the 5 F's: firtile, forty, female, family history, and fat (no offense, I got that verbatum from an ER doc). While this isn't necessarily an emergency condition, it hurts like h e double hockey sticks. It can however become serious and the best course of action is to get it removed. Since you aren't insured, look for a 'county hospital', which is a hospital in the area that is required to take everyone who comes in their doors, regardless of ability to pay. Go to the ER, get a referral, and go see a surgeon. Hopefully this hospital has a benevolence program and can drastically reduce your medical costs. Hope you get better.

Is your pain on the right side of your upper abdomen? You should consider that you might have cholecystitis or cholelithiasis (gallbladder inflammation or gallstones) these can cause you to have a WICKED pain in your abdomen. Nine times out of ten right upper quadrant abdominal pain equals gallbladder complaint, especially if you are overweight and/or have a diet high in fattty and/or spicy foods. I would recommend you to go to the hospital and have an ultrasound done, then you would have a straight answer. Hope I helped!

you should really go to a clinic or the ER. it could be anything. you might need an ultra sound. i had really bad stomach pain, went to a clinic and got an ultrasound done, nothing showed up....2 weeks later(still in pain)went to a OB/GYN and she did an ultrasound and found a cyst the size of a small orange on my right ovary. Had it removed and 3 months later it came back. they would have took my ovary but birth control regulates my menstrual cycle. may not be the same thing, but just some insight, plus i was told it was common for chicks my age(was 22 at the time, 23 now)

A question for you. Do you eat before you take this pill?

You mention that you don't have health insurance but you need to see a dr to check to see if it is gallbladder issues or appendix or something else. So my recommendation is to check with your local county or city health dept to see if they offer free clinics, if not check with a Medical School if you have one close by as they can help in situations like this.

This could be because of muscle fatigue or dehydration. Try exercising all parts of your body. It also sometimes is due to disuse atrophy. Consult a doctor if it persists. You can also look for information in the web. I found this website very useful. http://aches.in/cramps.html
