Several guys have had back-to-back titles. That's no big deal.

But Craig Hodges put on the real show when he hit 19 shots in a row. Not many guys can do that. He also set the record for most points in a round, with 25.

Oh, and go Kapono!

It's 25 in 1 minute though

I doubt they shoot 100 in 4 minutes

Practice 3's are completely different

The best performance ever Was Tim Legler in 1996 who shot a combined 65 in his 3 rounds. The best per round performance is Hodges at 25 in 91 where he made 19 consecutive shots.

Hodges won 3 in a row as did Bird

This year I got to give it up for Agent 0 or Jason Terry

Larry Bird, who won the first three 3-pt shootouts.

Michael Jordan had the worst when he scored a TOTAL of FIVE points (that's not five points from one rack, that's five points in TOTAL).

Jordan was bored with the slam dunk contest, but the league just HAD to have him participate in All Star Saturday Night... so he entered the 3 point shootout and finished eighth (out of 8). A total of Five points! This happened in 1990. The five point total was the lowest ever recorded in the 3 point shootout. I'm not sure anyone will ever break THAT record.

Peja was good a few years back but Larry Bird in 1986 will always be the most memorable performance. He was down 15-7 with two racks left and came back. Then he pulled a Babe Ruth and called the winning shot in before it even went through the hoop.

not sure, but on a related topic:

I live in San Antonio, and the other day on the local news, they did a sports special on the Spurs' practices. They have a shooting drill where the guards take 100 three pointers without resting. In the NBA 3point shootout, they shoot 25, right? 100 would be tiring.

Brent Barry has the team record...get this...94 of 100. I kid you not.
