Our baby just spat up milk (like normal) with a two very small bits of cogulated blood. She is acting totally normal and fine. She is 1 onth old.

i agree with the above posters, it definitely warrants a call to the pediatrician. If you are breastfeeding and see some blood coming from your nipples that could explain. My little one use to spit up after every feeding and there was never any blood. Better safe than sorry, that is what insurance is for and your pediatrician should have an answering service that can page the Dr for you.

I would contact the pediatrician or the 24 hour medical help line that most health insurance companies have.

I would be concerned myself. If your insurance offers a nurse advice line, I would call them or if not then call the hospital. If you can't talk to anyone either of those ways, I would take her to the hospital. Best of luck. I hope everything is okay with her.

Neither of my kids ever did that. I think its definitely cause for concern. Try calling the nursing station at your birthing ward and ask them (they're there 24 hours a day).

are your nipples cracked from breastfeeding? if so, then no it's not dangerous. if you do not think it is the cause; then call your pediatrician.
