when it is started it will run for about 2 min. then dies. it you push on the gas it will continue to run. but if you dont it dies. we have already tried to adjust the idol. and still have the same problem. what else could be wrong?

check all your vacuum lines, there is usually a diagram sticker on the inside of the hood, make sure all the sensor connectors are plugged in on the air filter cover,usually there are two. or check your plugs and wires for wear or damage. you can hear when there is a vacuum leak, it makes a hissing type sound, vacuum leaks can make your car stall. I ASSUME YOU HAVE EFI. IF YOU'V AJUSTED THE IDLE SCREW YOU NEED A SCAN TOOL TO RESET THE IDLE .
NOW AS FOR THE STALLING PROB. I WOULD SAY THAT THE TPS OR THROTEL POSITION SENER IS THE CAUSE I.E MELFUCTIONING OR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED OR AJUSTED YOU WILL STILL NEED A SCAN TOOL REGARDLESS BEST OF LUCK BRAD
