Freshwater dolphins come from South America. I believe it is the Niger River and the Amazon River. I believe that a saw a program about them on the Discovery Channel a few years ago.

The amazon river dolphin is the largest fresh water dolphin.It has small eyes,but still has a keen eyesight.The beak is usually long and the flippers are very broad.Its scientific name:Iniageoffrensis.
Length:(1.8-2.5m)
weight:(85-160kg)
Teeth:90-140.

Franciscana
Scientific name:Pontoporia blainvillei.
Length(1.3-1.7m).
weight:(30-53kg)
This is the only fresh water dolphin that may be found in marine
water The animal inhabits isolated areas .

Indus and Ganges river dolphin.
Scientific name:Platanista gangetica.
Length:(1.5-2.5m).
Weight:(70-90kg).
Teeth:(104-150kg).
Other than telling day from night,their eyesight is insignificant.they have limber bodies,paddle-like flippers,flexible necks,long beaks,sharp needle-like teeth.
