As another New Orleans resident, I can say that I've never seen a kiss between Lil Wayne and Baby but I'm sure that Lil Wayne was showing his gratitude to Baby for all that he's done for him. Check out Lil Wayne's page on Wikipedia; Baby did a lot for Lil Wayne as a rapper. I also agree with AnnetteTyler77!

As a Louisiana resident, let me explain. We are down home country folk who are kissers. We are people persons who sit on the porch and/or wave and speak to folks who pass by. We don't need to know you to strike up a conversation. We just have a love for people.
We kiss to say hello, and goodbye. We get that from our folks: grandma, mom, grandpa, cousins, and all. Those two men love each other as son and father. They need that relationship as men, because every man needs to know that some man cares. Just as a father would kiss his son on the lips, that is just an expression of the love they have for each other. I think that it is a wonderful thing.
It means that I am here for you and with you no matter what. Baby sees Wayne as a man, but also as his little boy. What a great relationship.
