If you have the persons address then you can petition the court and have him ordered to appear in court with the information you are seeking. Make sure in the petition has every thing that you need to know about him listed on your petition. Good luck and hope this helps.

If you know the defendant's social security number you should be able to find out for whom he is employed. Any private investigator or collection agency can do this job.
Also in lieu of a social security number, a driving license number would probably work.
Even without those, if you know enough identifying info about the defendant, you can probably locate his employer.
In some places, the court will actually garnish the wages of a person against whom a judgment has been entered. You may want to see if that's the case where you live.

Ask the court for an Order of Examination. This will bring the defendant into court so that you can question him as to his resources and employment.

You can hire a private investigator or try asking people that the debtor knows. Check to see if your local court rules allow the debtor's examinations. You can force the debtor to come to court and testify about thing such as where they work and what property they own.
