Anybody from the Houston area know of something fun a couple could do??

I used to live there. Went to University of Houston back in the day! Not sure of what is going on down there now becasue I haven't been there for awhile, but here are some of the things I used to enjoy:
(1) summertime swim at the pool
(2) beach at dusk and evening
(3) comedy shows
(4) free happy hour food and discount drinks
(5) nightclub dancing
(6) day fishing trips
(7) driving down to Kema and buying shrimp and fish, then taking them home and having a grill party with friends over
(8) miniature golf
(9) going to listen to live music at the hotel bars
(10) museums. I still have some of the art posters I bought. great stuff
(11) driving around taking photos of the wildflowers in the spring and summer. Makes great postcards and prints for your wall. keepsakes.

Well, the Rodeo is coming up....that's always fun even if you don't enjoy country music! They have all the rides and then the animals and little boutiques inside. I have always loved going, and it's even more fun when you are with a date! Check out the line up, maybe there's someone coming that you like and then you can go together. If you want a nice romantic dinner, try Michelangelo's on Westheimer, and then maybe a trip to the Water Wall. These have all been fun things that I've done and I definitely reccomend them! Hope this helps!

Ice skating/ people watching at the Galleria.
Museum district
Theater district
festivals/ antique shops
Zoo and the gardens
Drive to Galveston. Visit the strand for shopping, food and nite life, ride the ferry(free), take a tour bus or the trolley.
Sports events/ golf/ Clear Lake and Galveston Bay for boating /deepsea fishing / sailing tours
bed and breakfast
