They are not "songs." They are either "rap" or "hip hop." Songs have melodies and draw one in and hold you if the singer can actually sing and has the experience to have developed style, showmanship and phrasing. One who had it all was Frank Sinatra. Others are Barbra Streisand, Liza Minnelli, Judy Garland, Peggy Lee, Rosemary Clooney, Lena Horne, Eydie Gorme, Dinah Washington, Diana Ross, Tony Bennet, Julie Andrews, Queen Latifah (when she wants to), Vic Damone, Betty Hutton and on and on. Dynamite in the vocal cords.
