What doz the song pain mean to you?

I think it has a lot to do with hurting yourself to feel something real, because a lot of people today have problems with wounding themselves just so that they can feel something, because they think that pain is better than nothing. So I think it's basically about dealing with your own pain, and how you handle it.

I haven't totally listened to the lyrics...I usually have to listen to a song I like for awhile, before I can get over the great sound and pay closer attention to the lyrics.

It doesn't what we think the song means. The only thing that matters is what the writer intended the lyrics to mean.
