sometimes. I get real giggly when I get a best answer for a question that I thought was a lot better than the answer i gave. Its cool when you get a best answer for a question that was way out of you rank.

I like getting chosen as best answer when it is the asker. Somehow it isn't the same if voters choose. Then you don't know how to thank them for considering your answer as best. I think that when the asker chooses you as best, it means they were satisfied and found the response they were looking for. I also like to know that I really earned it in the eyes of the asker. I usually thank them in the comments section.

Yep. :) It's one of the few things that keeps me here after all this time and hassle. Knowing that I can still come up with an Answer that people like in spite of the Thumbs-Down Brigades here. :P
