I have notice that some young men dont wear a belt with their jeans and always having trouble walking with them on. I've even seen some guys walking bowlegged just so their jeans wont fall to the ground. To me it just seems streessful to not be able to do anything unless you're holding up your pants. I guess maybe its todays style or something... i dont get it.

I'm sure someone is going to answer this question with a comment saying something to the point of... "Why did they bell-bottoms and afros hairstyles in the 70's, why did we listen to Milli Villi (and happen to like it at the time), or why did people wasted time on trying to solve "Rubik's Cube"?

If young men wore belts...then their pants couldn't hang past their butt...that's how they like it!

It's a trend in a way, and i'm sure the people who you saw doing it were either African or Mexican.

I heard once that this fad started in prison--as advertising. I do not know if it is true, but I tend to believe it is.
