William Blake wrote those 2 poems to contridict each other. He wrote 2 different books, and each poem is an opposite to each other. "The Lamb" is a condition to "The Tyger". It is suppose to represent the kindness of the Lamb and the fierceness of the Tyger and how they both are quite different and portrayed in human society.
