OK first thing we need is more information on your team and what you need for it. Lebron is an all around player who gets around 25 6 and 6. Terry is a streaky player who can get 20 a night and 5 assists then other nights get 10 points. Tim Duncan is probably the most consistent player who gets a double double daily.
Amare Stoudemire WITH Steve Nash in the lineup is a real force. He's still not explosive enough to create his own shots but with Nash he'll shoot a high percentage while getting around 20 and 10 a night. KG is obviously the person you would most want to acquire. He's the NBA's leader in board with 12.9 boards a night and he gets around 25 points a game. He also could get you a few asists a night. Josh Smith is also a streaky player who can play great some nights and get around 20 points 10 boards and 3 blocks then other nights be a non factor with 10 points 5 boards.
To look at this trade, don't look at your Josh Smith. You're really just trading Lebron and TD for his Amare and KG. They're the most solid players and Terry and Josh are streaky. If in your league, you need boards and points with few TOs, then it'll definitly be a trade to make. On the other hand, if you need assists a bit more than rebounds, then stick with your players.
Just remember your trading one of the league's best SF, an OK PG, and one of the league's top PF for a great PF/C, the league's best PF, and a streaky SF/SG. You trading for 3 players that mostly do the same points gettin points boards and blocks. Keep that in mind.

Unless you are doing terrible in your league make it but if you are doing well or average dont because changing your whole team can be disastorous. Its a true fact that Lebron's numbers have gone down this year in every category, but I can guarantee he will pick it back up. Tim Duncan is going to give you 20 pts 10-15 rebs and 2-4 blks a game cant argue with that, And Terry Will give you 15 pts 7 assts.

Currently
Lebron VS Garnett = Garnett is definetly better in my opinion best fantasy player

Duncan vs Amare= Amare only averages 19 and 9 and 1,3 blks good but Duncans numbers are better

Smith vs Terry= Smith has been consistent 16 10 and 3 so hes better.

So it may seem like You would be getting a great deal in my anaylis but i didnt look into percentages, steals and TO's
Reccomendation= Jason Terry isnt amazing especially playing behind two allstars Dirk and Howard and the person seems to value Terry as much as Smith, He must like garnett almost as much as Lebron James

So I think your team would be better if you did James and Terry for Garnett and pick up a guy who can give you assists.

If you really need rebounding do that trade. It all depends on what you need but the players you would receive from that trade are excellent fantasy players individually. KG is a top 3 player, Josh Smith gets stats for everything except threes and free throws and Amare has been consistent this whole year.

BTW, LeBron is an overrated fantasy player

Yes plain and simple. KG and Josh Smith are great fantasy players while you current lineup has a huge flop by the name of Lebron James.

On face value it looks like a great trade for you because you are getting much higher ranked players. But just to make sure I did a spreadsheet to analyse this trade.

If you take the trade you will gain a small amount of FG%, a healthy amount of FT%, 9.8 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and a small amount of steals.

You will lose 2.6 3PTM, 5.4 Points & 6.6 Assists.

Have a look at your rankings and see what areas you are strong in.

If you lead the league in 3's, points and assists then definitely take the trade.

If you lead the league in rebounds and blocks then don't bother.

Man i don't know. Thats tough. If those players your trading for are performing better, maybe, but you never know what could happen in the second half. That is a hard decision

That sounds like a pretty even trade (maybe slightly in your favor)... do you really want to break up your team though? If you're doing good you should stick with what you got.

if you got assists to go around on your other players yeah. if you need FG % or 3PT made no. you need boards and blocks yeah. if you are way ahead in 3PT do it if not don't. also remember u know TD and LBJ are pretty good night to night. KG is really the only other constant.

Make the trade, Lebron has been streaky this year.
