CD-R is a blank disc you can record onto. Like when we used to buy blank tapes years ago to put our music on.

A compact disk is a cd. You need a cd burner, aka your cd drive, and a music program, like windows media player or itunes or something like that. I use itunes, but with most all of those programs, you must make a playlist first. Get a list of all songs you want on it. (Note: You probably won't be able to add over 21, especially if you have 2- five minute songs plus.) Then click burn playlist to disk. If you can't find it, look on your file or edit lists. This can take anywhere from 2 to 10 minutes.( if you don't have it done within 15 minutes, call it quits, and find a different program. Its either that program or your computer that is extremely slow, but you can't use that disk again!) You can play it on anything except record players, cassette players, etc. If you meant cassette, im sorry, but you weren't exactly the clearest on what you meant! I guess you could play the cd while recording it onto the tape...

You just said you want to buy a cassette that comes on an LP with a CD-R. I'm very confused. Can you clarify some?
