I have a dance number copa ole and I HAVE to wear the costume,
are they good colors for the SAME out fit? Gloves mini-top
ruffle- shorts and a head-band!

As any artist will tell you.. purple and yellow are complimentary colors.. which means .. when purple and yellow are near each other they will look more dense or deeper. In a dance outfit with ruffles and flourishes.. it would look fine if the colors are making the combination not too strong or overloaded. Now for you looking good in purple and yellow.. well .. NOOOO if you are a redhead.. runnn from this outfit... red does not go with this unless you are bongo the clown.. and if you bleach your hair blonde and it has the least amount of yellow or yellow orange in it you need to tone that yellow VERY out of the blonde.. or else you will look like somebody's easter basket. I hope this helps so that you will look your best with these colors to work with. Wish I was there to look at your coloring with the outfit. I have worked on so many for my kids that its actually frustrating to not be able to see you. :) but maybe you can send me a picture. Good luck on your dance.!!

the only combo of purple and yellow that would be good for everyday wearing would be light sunshiney yellow and medium deep purple. in fact, i luv those colors together. but bright yellow will never ever go w/any type of purple, especially not lavender (which wont ever go w/any type of yellow). deep plum is better kept to jeans and light shoes, altho it by itself is a fantastic color. on certain circumstances it may go w/light yellow. mustard yellow is a strange color: it oly looks good on certain ppl (which may not have anything in common w/each toher!), so stay away from it unless ur one of those.

Well, usually I would say no, but if it a certain costume, then that is an exception. As long as its not the brightest yellow and the darkest purple, it will be fine!

Well my school colors are purple and yellow so they match for us but I don't know if I would wear those colors together anyway.

they are oppsite of the colure weel soooo yes they mach....if you are going to were yellow and purple i sugest this where a yellow shirt and purple scarf(vise verse) then where a dennim skirt....this is what i think i am a guy

purple & yellow go 2gether if it's a butter yellow & a lavender but if it's a true purple & a true yellow, it doesn't look so good.
