i remember the final episode being aired but i didnt get to see it. what happened and PLZ no jokes!

ok. it was really stupid.
in the manga Naraku dies. (yes!!) finally.
and at the end of the anime, they just say " we'll continue to look for the shards." and inuyasha's not demon. they haven't even finished collection.
and you know the end of the 4th movie, that leaves you nowhere. its supposedly the last movie too!!

The group is trapped in the belly of a stone ogre, brought to life by the tainted jewel. Naraku waits outside for InuYasha and the rest to be melted by the stomach acid, so that he can get the shards Kagome has.
Miroku makes a barrier while InuYasha tries all his attacks, but they aren't strong enough. Then Miroku passes out and so InuYasha gives the others his fire rat jacket to protect them.
He decided the only way out is to use Kagome's shards, only because Naraku's tanted jewel is so close it starts to turn InuYasha into his full demon state. Kagome seeing this runs over to him and wraps her arms around his back, keeping him and the shard 'pure'. (He still has his facial markings but no red eyes)
Kagome's legs are burning, but InuYasha needs her to keep holding him until he gets them free so she does. They blast their way out and Kagome passes out. Then InuYasha carries her back to the village.
Also during the two episode finale Kikyou finds Kanna with the creepy baby and almost has them, but Kanna escapes by jumping off a cliff where she is caught by one of Naraku's other incarnations, the other half of creepy baby (I can't spell their names- sorry)
They group gets back to Kaede's and she treats Kagome. Everyone talks about how InuYash astill has a lot to learn ane he actually agrees. He takes Kagome outside into a tree and they talk. He apologizes for getting her injured and she tells him it was worth it to help him/be with him. The lean against each other then it cuts to the whole group running through the country with a voice over of how they will keep hunting down the shards and Naraku and how they'll never give.
The end.
Of course the manga continues well past that point and there is even an InuYasha Yahoo group that does scanlations so you can keep up to date. It is adinuyasha.

it was really a stupid ending. apparently they still had to hunt down naraku. so the ending of the the anime didn't end the inuyasha story line at all.
but if you want to double check it go to

they said they will officially end the inuyasha story in a movie or in the manga.

that I would like know my self do
they kill the demon lord or not
the last thing I saw was them
saying that the baby had the demon lord's
human heart t that it had to killed then they just started over
form the beginning
