had a breakdown....was it okay to make him lie on the couch,while I sat at the desk and took notes?

btw,I go to therapy so I think its ok for me to have a little fun...i gaurantee,my therapist would find it funny

Until you said "him" I thought you were talking about MY therapist. She's taking more anti-deppressants than I am. And the last time I was there I noticed that the wall clock was missing. When I mentioned it to her, she said that the constant "tick, tick, tick" got to her and she couldn't take it anymore, so she got rid of it.
But to answer your question, I guess it's okay to make him lie down while you took notes. That takes more nerve than what I've got. If I were anywhere near a therapist during a breakdown, I'd be getting out of there ASAP.

I guess it's ok because you're paying for the session. You can pretty much do what you want to in therapy.
