I notice this a lot on here... some people that seem to think that if you ever back up or reconsider the situation that you don't have any "balls" or you're a "coward"...

it often seems to have little to do with the facts or any actual strategy... only "we can't look like weenies"...

really, it seems to come down to they care more about their pride than about what's right or wrong or even about America and what's good for America.

pride is often the cause of many losses and falls throughout history... does anyone fear that is a problem now in America?

to clarify a little: this is not to even say that there aren't factual or good reasons... but it seems that many don't discuss them and often discuss ideas that seem to have more to do with pride...

and of course, everyone doesn't do this... some do discuss the facts...

what in the world are you asking about?
are u making a speech or asking a question?

if i was in Mr. bush's shoes at the time of Vietnam, i would do the same thing he did.
why go to Vietnam?...a war that was started by democrats for no good reason.
would any of us go to war today if we have a good reason not too? most people go in the military because they can't pay their bills or they can't go to school....only few go because of the moral obligation of protecting the country .....where one person is not going to make that much of difference. then why go to war?
mr. bush did what most people did during that time which was to avoid the war. and if you are stupid like john kerry and went to war and still lost the presidential election....then cry me river.
but don't be upset over some guy who didn't go to Vietnam, slacked off in school, probably smoked marijuana, who can't speak proper english and that person still happened to be the president of the united states.

I have to disagree with you on the pride issue, after the results
of the last election it is obvious that the electorate doest give
a d*** about pride. What do they say" Pride goeth before the
Fall" Irregardless This country is on the downward cycle of
being a great power. We are fortunate to have the technology
superiority now that we have. But the resolve and fortitude
that we are lacking and getting worse by the year will lead to our ultimate
downfall..The power mongers and the liberals are exploiting
our lack of manliness and fortitude .The only Man In the
World (right or wrong) is George Bush..

Re: For those who believe that the rich don't pay their fair share of federal income taxes...?

You answered "...your chart only shows what is 'taxable'... ".

Sorry, I should have said that the income is adjusted gross income, which is ALL income from ALL sources - before itemized deductions are taken into account and after gains and losses from investments, businesses, etc have been accounted for.

Further, you said "..your rules for income are about as honest as a backstreet casino in vegas... "

Now, Gee-Gee, I told you what was gonna happen if you ranted and raved on me, right? I'm getting really tired of asking questions that don't get answered but, instead, yield up the lowest form of communication that the respondent can muster.

You have been reported and have a nice day.

The problem in America is far too many lazy liberal folks ready to rollover. This has nothing to do with pride, this has to do with National Security..

Bush is behind our troops.......... "WAY" behind them. Just like he was during Vietnam. "WAY" behind them.
