Ha Ha Ha here in Alaska if we removed the snow what would be left?No but seriously we do try to keep the ice at bay with a mixture of rock salt and cat litter so as the ice/snow melts the litter/sand sinks in and freezes into the ice at night.

THankfully we live outside of town and do not have sidewalks. I live in MI and we have 3-4 feet of snow. I'm just glad I don't live in NY.

Naw...I don't think we have one anyway. We have too much trouble worrying about the streets to worry about whether sidewalks are cleared.

I don't think ours does. If they want it cleared then they can clear it themselves is how I feel about it and if I want to fart I don't want to have to call city hall to see if it is a violation of the emissions law for Pete's sake.
