Even by your arch nemesis? I'll always respond but some people ignore and pretend they are deaf. I'm just wondering if this is normal.

It's polite to respond. If it's a nemesis or someone saying something nasty, then the response can be "I'd rather not speak with you."

basically say No Habla Ingles! Whats the tremendous deal. i'm German and Irish (American) and at the same time as i bypass to Miami, the Cubans communicate to me in Spanish. There are brown, black and white hispanics. i do not trust they may well be pissy, that has never got here about to me. i'm no longer calling you a liar, yet I actually have had 1000's of reports like this and not in any respect once did each and each and every individual have a issue with me. I communicate a touch Spanish, that would help, yet i don't think of it has some thing to do with it. also, I communicate Spanish possibly on a Kindergarten or first grade aspect, and that i have not gained some thing yet help for no less than attempting to learn, they get a kick out of me, smile and attempt to help me out.

Sometimes I don't respond to my husband. He can get on my nerves. If he or anyone else trys to talk to me by yelling from another room I may not respond. If I do, they don't know what I am saying so I have to go into the room where they are. This means I have to stop what I am doing. So, I may not respond.

It's always polite to speak when spoken to. Just depends on the type of person you're interacting with.

It all depends on the situation. I have selective hearing so I only hear what I want. The same goes for my response when spoken to.

People are the way they are, Can't really help that. Some people are nice and have respect while others aren't as nice as they should be and are rude.

I usually do, but there are times when I am so engrossed in something else, that I just let it go in one ear and out the other.
