I was flipping through the channels last night and I was subjected to a infomercial about cleansing my colon on 10 channels at once. What are the late night programmers thinking?

Makes you wonder who is behind the messages? 10 all playing in sequence I have noticed too, while trying to flip pass them. Friend or Foe was the question, and I'm going to have to say Foe myself.

Apparently, they were thinking that a lot of people were full of something. Well, I have mixed feelings about infomercials. They are sometimes better than watching nothing at all and introduce you indepth to new and interesting products (sometimes) like kitchen gadgets, new diet plans, etc. I did find a very interesting product about a facial exerciser. The idea was to get rid of wrinkles by direct electrical stimulation of the underlying muscles.

But a lot of times, infomercials are about a bunch of hype, gimmicks, and junk products. In that case, go to bed or find something else to occupy your time until there are decent programs on television. Four AM to seven AM are about the worst when it comes to infomercials.

You have ten channels in you colon, man you rectum must be sore.

But seriously, they are thinking this is a good time to put on these commercials especially since they paid ten channels to play that commercial all at once.
