Do you have a good gut instinct? That's when I know when people are lying. Also, look for little changes and twitches. For example, if there face turns red or if there eyes roll a certain way. You have to really study someone to know if there lying. Get to know the way a person not under stress reacts and the way a person under stress reacts. Its actually really interesting. Hope this helps.

they move their eyes away from yours. or if in front of many others, their eyes cannot meet the crowd. another way to know a liar is if his eyes get vacant, or glassy, when he is lying to you.

sometimes, but only if a liar already knows this trick, a liar will deny something he did do, very calmly. you see, the people that tell the truth do not need to be dramatic, so they can say the truth calmly. the experienced liar also does that. the inexperienced liar might be too dramatic in denying what he said or did. or, he may overtalk: saying too much in his defense.

but the worst liars are pathological: they really BELIEVE their lies, so their lies are extraordinarily good. it is as though their stories are a life story, but it is designed to manipulate you. you listen carefully, because they will trip themselves up. since they are pathological, and since they design their lies for you as well as for others, they have to remember which lie they told to whom. but when you listen up, you can figure out what was a lie, because the facts conflict. i think they are dangerous.

truthful people's stories are always consistent. if not, if you cannot understand what they are saying and you ask them to explain, they can do so, consistently. it all lines up.

they typically look down and to the right. it'll look like a quick glance to the left when you are looking at them
one side of the brain controls memory. The other controls imagination. When they look that way they are that side of their head, indicating where they are getting ideas from.

That is one way, there are others I don't know of. This one might not work 100% of the time,,,depending on how people remember things and what they are lying about. It is a pretty good rule of thumb though.

i heard that they look to ther left, but i dont think thats true cuz wen i lie, i think of what ill luie about ahead a time so that i can look them staright in the eye and tell them a flat out lie, but if u no a person good enough, u can usually tell wen they r lying, or after they lie to u, talk to them about it again in like a month, and mayb itll b a different story... im not entirely sure...

not really, but i call them on it, and act like they're lying, and then they either cave in or not. that's when i look to see if it seems like their lying, ya see i'm a mom, but i still love my little manipulaters, or as their dad calls them, "the kids".

how the story has changed from the last time you were told it or heard it. not making eye contact. fidgety body language. tone of voice (excited, heightened, shaky). sweaty palms. overly emotional. avoidance.
