If I were you then I would wait just a few more months. They say you should wait at least one year between pregnancies to allow your body to fully heal.
I had my daughters 14 months apart. It wasn't planned that way though. So, my first daughter was 5 months old when I got pregnant with my youngest. And the second pregnancy was hard on my body. I even had complications which could have been due to not having my body in top condition for pregnancy.
I do know plenty of people who had babies even closer together and everything was fine. But, why run the risk when you don't have to?
Three months seems a little too quick.Your body is still trying to regulate your period and recover hormonally. Personally I would try to wait at least until 6-8 months, if not the full year. Your children would still be close in age and it gives your body the extra months it needs.
Good luck!

You should most definitely go ahead and try as long as your OBGYN thinks it is good for your body, also make sure you are both prepared having the babies so close together. I had my 2nd and 3rd close and it was hard on me as a mother when they were babies but now they are both in school and it is so nice, the are only a grade apart so they will mostly be in the same schools all through there school years. If you did not have a hard time with the first baby I couldn't see you having a problem getting pregnant so soon, Good Luck!

Once I talked to a mama who was also a psychiatrist and she said that the biggest mistake women make in their first year postpartum is making big life decisions. Having a baby is definitely one of those! And numerous sources say that waiting at least a year postpartum is healthiest for mama and baby. That's my unsolicited two cents, hope it's not offensive.

Breastfeeding keeps you from ovulating for a while - and if you are already breastfeeding you should definitely keep it up rather than slow down to have another baby - that wouldn't do you, the current baby, or the potential baby any favors. (Weaning early can lead to PPD because of hormonal craziness.)

Good luck.

We now and again forget that nursing isn't continuously about the milk. little ones like to nurse, no longer only because the milk is the healthiest ingredient for them, yet because that's YOU. Their mama's heartbeat, scent, closeness, embody, eye contact, convenience, love, that's all tied to nursing for the toddler. It develops believe and verbal communique. Sucking facilitates imprint them to you. toddler's neurons and hormones lead them to favor and flower with the help of nursing--it actually builds her mind. that's organic that she likes to nurse and may want to refuse a bottle. If she loves nursing and think ofyou've got were given milk, why are you preventing? If that's that you ought to damage out each and every so often, I understand, i particularly do. paying for a breast pump is a lot less complicated and inexpensive in the longer time period than formula. you may continuously provide it a attempt. Breast milk is sweeter than formula and she or he'll be more desirable in all danger to take it from a bottle than formula. Even then, some little ones particularly don't like a bottle. I artwork finished time and pump. now and again, my 2d toddler will anticipate me to go back homestead to eat, he'd somewhat no longer take a bottle. i imagine you want a damage and some more desirable help. Do you've kinfolk, or human beings from artwork or a church, that could want to help you with the homestead or different concerns? you've probably been hit on the top by technique of each and every of the 'breast is proper' stuff, yet there's a reason they say that, there's a reason she would not opt to renounce: she's no longer waiting to renounce that closeness to you.

No, just put on that 'sexy' neglace' and go hit the 'sheets!!' Smile!! Also, your doing the right thing having them close together hun. I spread mine out 14 years!! My oldest daughter will be 27 this year, and my youngest is only 13 !! And had I done what you two are doing, I could be enjoying my 40s, alone , and able to go and do whatever I wanted to do, without making sure my youngest two are always checking in with me about what their up too, every single day, you know. I just wish to God I'd of had all 4 of them closer in age!! Good Luck to you & yours, and just set-up the moods, for trying hun.....break out the candles, and a really good movie, and some dark chocolate & strawberries, with the whole 'fondue' set to feed eachother with, and put the baby in bed, and turn on some "Berry White" music, and you are "Good to Go!!" Smile!! Enjoy!!!

If you are breastfeeding then it may take a while but if your periods have returned then you should be fine.
