I have waited for my period for so long. I am now 15 in May and it is taking a long time. I have had what i think is a vaginal discharge starting 2 years ago. If it isn't than what is it. Am i normal?

Yes, very normal. You have nothing to worry about. Sometimes if you are a very athletic person your period may hold off.....that is awesome for you. I didn't start mine until I was 14 1/2. There is nothing to worry about! Just enjoy the time of not having to worry about when it is going to start next, or it leaking.

OMG..i wish i didn't start mine until 15. I don't think it's anything to be worried about.

Are you a lean person? Girls who have a very low % of body fat stop getting their periods. Maybe you need to put on some weight?

Yes, you are normal. Girls get it at different ages. I know someone who got hers when she was a 16 or 17. It's completely normal. Usually you will get it around the same time as your mother or sister did. Trsut me, think of this as a blessing! But just talk to your mom, they know everything.
