If you don't want the family and friends you love to know about this bi side of you, be careful who you pick as your male love partners, and be very discreet, and make sure you have safe sex. T he pity of it is that when one of these relationships go sour, the first thing they will probably want to do to you is blackmail you. So don't tell anyone who you really are ,and have these little liaisons as far away from home as possible.. Even change the way you dress and do your hair so that you won't be easily recognised by any of these partners around where you live.

I wonder- am I the only one to recognize that your name is Ashley S?
Hmm? ROFL.
Anyway, sweetie, give this some time. Explore your horizions a little bit before you go and get your friends and family all worked up. If you are bisexual, then your father will just have to live with it. You're his child, and he will love you no matter what.
If he acts like he doesn't, if you do decide after some very deep and long thinking that you that you are bisexual, then that's his loss.
Not yours.
Good luck!

Yeah, my dad's a homophobe, too. I'm conservative and have a lot of conservative friends and family members, so it's weird, but if they really love you, they won't care. My dad doesn't like me talking about girls the way I talk about guys, and neither my mother nor my father "believe" in bisexuality, so they think it's just a phase.
I don't really care what they think, though.

i have a few friends that are bi and their perfectly fine, their parents don't know and they have to know, if you think about it, being bi you get the best of both worlds and who knows you might just fall in love with a guy and not a girl and it'll be perfectly normal. there are a lot of famous ppl like angelina jolie who are bi and its really sexy for guys so who know you might attract more suitors, don't worry so much about it, just live life happily, your not going to spend the rest of your life with your dad

Don't tell them anything.
I am hetero---but do you think I discuss what makes me "hot" in the bedroom? It doesn't matter if you are gay, straight, bi, or whatever, there is no need to discuss your bedroom activities.
When you find a person that you want to spend your LIFE with-----then you need to worry about family's reaction.....and then you know who truly loves you.
Those people...they will love you come hell or high water---and I bet you know who they are already!!!!!
Bless you child...may the good Lord make your road less bumpy through the smooth love of your friends & family!

well, I think maybe you should contact PFLAG (parents and friends of lesbians and gays) they can and will help you with your parents especially. They are a group of dedicated people who have the resources and the desire to help. Give them a try.

frankly telling u theres nothing actually called "bi".Either u r hereto or u r homo.....bi is within this continuum something created by people who dont actually wanna reveal their real normal straight preferences.......thats why u r feeling "scared " u see.......but if u control your self consciuos that u r both then u will stop getting scared and will always remain within that continuum
