My doctor told me I have a metabolism problem of some sort. Like if me and my best friend eat the same meal proportion and everything I'll gain wait and she won't. It's hard to get it off too. I weigh like twice the size of my friend. Help me please!!! I'm worried about it for my health too, heart conditions run in the family. My grandfather and dad have died of heart conditions. In case this helps I'm only 13 so I can't do any major dieting thing like weight watchers.

You should try to make yourself as active as possible!! It's like any math equation. You can't put a lot in and not even it out with exercise or all that food will make you gain weight. You are young and there are so many ways to get exercise. If you haven't already, join a sport, not only will it keep you active it will be lots of fun!!!

Go to a nature food store... they might be able to give you something but it sounds like you may have a thyroid problem. Go see a naturalist... better than western medicine for that sort of thing from what i've heard.... and walk a lot... a few kilometers a day... sweat it out... do a body cleanse and sweat, sweat, sweat. It's harer for some than it is for others but if you wanna look good and feel great about yourself then do lot's of exercise stay away from starchy foods like rice, potatoes, sugar, and pasta... they do nothing but turn into body weight. Good luck!
