recently when you do laundry after the cycle is completely done and i go go stairs there is still a bunch of water in the washer. When the washer is running it doesnt make any irregular noises and just works fine (minus this issue). The water doesnt flood out onto the floor. It just stays in the washer. Any suggestions

sounds like the pipe in back of the appliance has plugged up with lint. If you or your significant other aren't handy, then call the washer maintenance person to clean it out and they will oil your machine as well when they are there and they will check out the belts and all...so that could be a good thing.

It might be the washer's water pump going bad.

there's a water point swap that tells the device the drain has no longer been complete. Your pump would be undesirable, or yet another electric powered subject is proper to its non-operation.

Check the switch on the lid, telling the washer that the lid is closed. My washer just did this.

I bet the shaft to the pump snapped. Unless it is a newer machine, or you are really mechanically inclined and can work on it yourself, buy another machine.

The drainage pipe may be blocked. If it drains into a sink you may be able to use a wire hanger to pull out blockages, otherwise you may need a pumber.

Have you tried elevating the hose? Putting it up higher.
