definitely! Many eastern cultures value their elders a whole lot more than we do, and in many ways, I think this is very beneficial to the continuation of values and beliefs. It is true thatmany young people do not want to be preached to, but adults can also guide by example, thought making their lives exemplary and by living as closely to their ideals as they can.

No. Your life is your responsibility and only you can choose how to enjoy it. Still, parents and teachers can help as they often have more experience and knowledge But it's up to you to choose what to accept and what to reject. Most parents and teachers Will be genuinely well-meaning but ultimately it's up to you. So you don't require guidance, but may find it useful sometimes.

always. younger people usually won't listen though. as people grow up, they realise that all the things parents tried to tell you were the rights things to do.
