Okay, people already believe I'm weird enough to lock up. Sounds fun to be in a padded room. Straight jacket? Not so much. But, it's still six of one, half a dozen of the other. What would I do to get locked up? I'm schiz. No doubt.

Do they even still have padded cells and loony bins?

locked up in a padded room yes. not in a straight jacket. Sometimes I think it would just be nice to be in a place that I could yell and scream at noone in particular and bang my head against the wall without getting hurt and then fall asleep and wake up when I was good and rested.

Yes. I wouldn't do anything to be locked up in a padded cell with a straight jacket, i would do it on my own free will. Sounds nice and cosy. *smiles*

I have been"in care", but not unde severe restraint.
After the death of my partner Gwenneth while I was away) and the vile treatment of her remains, I nearly killed one of the female relatives; fortunately walking away before any damage was done. I suffered shaking fits, could not sleep and looked for ways to die.. My brother found help for me and I have since learned to forgive.
Believe me a padded cell is no place to wish to be. Rose P.

Yeah. I thought about it. I was suicidal and self destructive. I was delusional and thought I was hearing voices. I decided to try to start doing heroin to make my problems go away. Thankfully, I did NOT get the heroin and I went to a doctor instead after years of avoiding it. I got on lots of meds and I'm fine now.

yes i think it would be fun but just for like 2 hours with bathroom breaks just so i could get all my anger out and to see what its like the reason lets just say I'd be the only one left in my family not that i would kill my family ever but ya

Well I guess I could use a vacation. Sounds peaceful and quiet. And I would have probably done something to my ex to get there

Although I didn't want it to happen, one night Ed McMahon got angry about my booze jokes and called an ambulance to whisk me off to Belleview. I got even by nailing his wife. (hope he doesn't read Answers!)
