No way. Not at this point, anyway. He's not putting up MVP numbers, isn't playing well in clutch situations, and often just shows poor mechanics and makes questionable reads. He's still young, though, so maybe he can improve in the future. But again, he is no where near his brother in terms of "greatness," and in fact, he's not even the top QB from his draft class (both Ben Roethlisberger and Philip Rivers are far ahead of Eli right now).

Eli hasn't yet played to his potential, whereas Peyton has been probably the best QB in the league since his second season.
People might think that Eli hasn't reached his potential because of his supporting cast, but Eli has been very inconsistent throughout the course of whole seasons. Someday his production may match his potential, which is considerable. He may not be as good as his brother, but he definitely has the ability to be great.

Where Eli has proven to be far more mobile than Peyton and has at least as strong of an arm he has proven to be far inferior in the most important tangible, smarts and composure. He will never amount to even half the player his brother was 5 years ago, never mind now.

no way. Peyton doubles Eli in talent. Even Phillip Rivers is better than Eli. He's just an average quarterback.

Most Vulnerable Person? Trying to figure what your MVP means. Also Manning was MVP of the SUPERBOWL, which Eli wasn't in.

Eli Manning is so over rated it isn't even funny. He is NO Peyton and will NEVER be as good as Peyton. At best he'll be like... heck i dont' even know..
He's no Peyton, Marino, Unitas. any of them. He's over rated and will always be over rated JUST because he has Manning as his last name. You change your last name to manning and you'll be over rated too. I have a teammate with the last name manning. he plays QB and is a pitcher, he's a better pitcher than QB. He still isn't the greatest.

Eli blew any chances of that upon losing to the Titians. After that game he never recovered and started playing like 1st year QB.

Not until he wins a Super Bowl...Experts say he ultimately could be better than Peyton...I kind of doubt it now with Peyton's Super Bowl...

Are you kidding? No way, Eli has a long way to go before that would happen. If it were ever to happen.

no of course not. Eli hasnt really proven anything. He will most likely be a mediocre qb while his brother is setting records.
