i have this problem with my husband as well... he works in a plant... and i hate it when he comes home and gets a shower... because he gets a shower in my childrens bathroom... and i used to have to clean it a good bit.. because i didnt want to give them a bath in a black bath tub... i found some shower cleaner... it is called SCRUB FREE.... and it works... i used it just a little while ago... and all you do is spray it on there... i would let it sit for a few seconds...and then wipe it off... with a dry rag or paper towel... then i just took a wet rag and went over it... and it looked new again.... and i also told him that for now on when he gets out to wipe the tub out with his towel after hes finished with it... that will also help.... good luck to ya....

You didn't say if you live in a home or an apartment. If you live in a home then have an installer put in a metal shower in your laundry area (near the outdoors, where there is cross ventilation and you can open the windows) just off the garage or in the garage specifically for your husband and his grease. Then you will see the grease only when you want to, and it can go for months without cleaning, and all you have to do out there is open the windows and pour clorox on it, then close the door with your kids on your side of the door so they won't breathe it. Then go back and rinse the clorox off the walls of that enclosure and down the drain.
Now the nice shower/bath should be used by you and the kids. The reason mold forms is that there is a lack of air circulation, so install a fan in the ceiling and after you shower open the window. For this bathroom you can use "joy" detergent in the water for anyone who is a little oily and that will save you from dirty cleanup.
One huge warning/caution here...never never mix clorox and joy or soap or detergent of any kind or it will asphixiate you and your family

While you are in it (haha with kids thats the only time you get to be alone!!) grab an old body wash sponge and scrub a little... i do this while my conditioner or shaving cream is soaking in a bit, every minute counts!!!
Every month or so i'll get it really really clean, and then use a little bit of car wax on the walls NOT the floor though, unless you like concussions!!! This keeps build up off, and the water beads up on it.
I also buy the "clean shower" spray at the dollar store and spray after sweety is done and after i've rinsed all the shaving specks down the drain. Good luck!

Get an empty spray bottle and fill it half and half Vinegar and Water.
Get a 16 oz box of Baking Soda.
Spray the interior of your shower with hot water, then spray the Vinegar mixture on the walls, door, etc.
Sprinkle Baking soda on a clean rag and scub all surfaces inside the shower.
Rinse with hot water again, then Vinegar.
Let the shower dry.
Spray Pledge for furniture on a clean rag and polish all surfaces inside the shower.
The Baking Soda and Vinegar cleaned all the gunk off and the Pledge will help the oils/body soils roll off the next time you clean.
Repeat weekly.

Have everyone clean up after they shower. Tell them to use the was rag they just used to wash with and scrub down every surface and then rinse with the sprayer. Then dry it off with thier towel when they are done.

The Scrubbing Bubbles commonplace cleanser does no longer paintings properly, a minimum of no longer for me, so i can not imagine the bathe cleanser would paintings any more beneficial advantageous. i imagine the adult men fairly want to pitch in and sparkling their airborne dirt and mud up when they bathe. I comprehend that they are operating troublesome on a daily basis, and they are exhausted, yet once you get to it, that is 10 situations harder for you. i'd purchase a sponge or a nylon scrubber only for the bathtub. perhaps they can supply it a 2 minute going over at the same time as they were nonetheless in the bathe, when they were done cleansing themselves? solid success!

I have one of those Scrubbing Bubbles automatic shower cleaners. It does a fair job. If hubby is the cause of the biggest mess, that would be one job that would be his.

Have you tried the automatic cleaner that sprays and keeps your shower clean without you even touching it? I've seen it on ads and hear it works fairly well, for what you pay.
