This question falls into the stupid category. It should not matter what people think of females rock climbing. If you would like to climb rocks, then go ahead. All the power to you! It is your own business.

I'm a girl (well, duh) and I've been rock climbing since I was six. Right now, I'm a junior in high school, I'm still obsessed with rock climbing. In fact, I'm the captain of my High School's varsity rock climbing team. Of course not that many high schools have rock climbing teams, but my school has seventeen people on our rock climbing team. we compete in relays and stuff. It really encourages me to work out and lift weights and stuff, because I want to be the best. I probably would be in horrible shape right now if it weren't for rock climbing. This spring break I'm going rock climbing in the Swiss Alps. Yes, rock climbing girls are pretty awkward socially, but I really love doing it and that's what matters.

I believe it to be an admirable sport requiring high energy and stamina. Also, it helps overcome any fear of heights and works a lot of muscles in the body representing good vascular movement and blood flow. I highly recommend it.
