YES!
At least in my personal experience... Every guy that I have ever dated... Wanted me back years later. Every single one....
I think it was because they went out and dated other girls and remembered what a nice caring person I was to them... Unfortunate for them it was too late... ha ha.
Poor guys... Too bad for them my compassion for butt head jerks has run out...

I want to say yes and then I am going to say NO... it all depends on the situation and the person.. You can have a man that just don't get it and they realize what they had when it's no longer there and they see that the woman has moved on.. Now that can be the same for woman also, we have some woman that are used to being a DOG, so they dog every man they come in contact with, but they will come across a good man one day and they then will see the error of there evil ways. But then on the flip side of things we have relationships that are just not meant to work out for the jump and they fight to make it work, but they find away to move on separately with out any hard feelings. So it all depends on who you are and what your relationship was like

I think so. You can not see the whole picture when you are in it. The furthest point is limited to what is around you. Once you step back you get a better view and see the bigger picture.

Pretty much. I suggest, as I'm sure you already know, is to stay clear of the insensitive. The right friend(s) will find you to be just as caring as one/they is/are.

Probably not.
That would defeat the object of the relationship.
