are you feeding him everytime he wakes up???? if so try to just put him back to sleep without feeding him. it may sound mean but think about it this way.... If someone woke you up every hr and gave you a Big Mac for example your body would be used to getting feed every hr and it would naturaly wake up every hour. I would give that a try and see if that helps. if not he probility has a gas issue and his stomic is hurting him a little bit

First let me say I am so sorry to hear of your problem, you must be very tired! I don't think I would start on cereal yet. Your baby sounds like he has his days and night confused. I would try to do whatever you can to keep him awake during the day. Try to start a routine for a week and stick to it. At night try to comfort him without feeding him if possible. Give him a binky or rub him on his back but don't pick him up right away. Slowly during the week with trying to keep him awake during the day hopefully he will sleep more at night. Also don't be afraid to wake him up in the morning to teach him daytime is awake time.

Every baby is different.. I was blessed with all of mine sleeping through the night at six weeks though. Against doctors orders, I bought a bottle that is specially designed to dispense cereal through a larger hole than a standard nipple. I would give my kids a bottle of semi-thick baby cereal at about 10-11 pm and then nurse them to sleep. I wouldn't hear from them again until around 6-7 am unless they were sick of course. Good luck to you. It does get better.. and worse :-)

i'm including your medical professional. you need to not in any respect placed cereal in a touch one's bottle. exceptionally when you try to make the child sleep more beneficial. you does no longer supply the child Benadryl or some thing like that to make him sleep would you? you need to assume a 7 week previous infant to wish to be fed about each and every 3 hours. it is known. in case you do not prefer to ruin your infant, then you quite will basically ought to conflict through through the evening feedings. in the adventure that your 6 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous is in college in the course of the day then you quite can attempt to nap or paintings on your college paintings at the same time as the child is dozing in the course of the day. If no longer, you would basically ought to sit down out a semester or 2 from college and bypass again at the same time as the child is older. from time to time we ought to sacrifice for our youngsters.

Are you sure he is getting enough to eat? Does he seem really full and satisfied after nursing? If not, try supplementing with a bottle. I had to do that with both of my babies. I could not produce more than 2 oz. of milk total both sides. Is he napping too much during the day?

Nothing, its part of a baby, they wake up at all times of the day.Trying getting a musical nursery light up toy & put it in the crib other than that, you will just have to wake up & feed him, change him, rock him,and he should go back to sleep.i've been there done that but soon it will get better.

Have you tried co-sleeping? He might want the closeness and comfort. I know it is not recommended but I did it with both of my children when they were babies and they slept for longer spurts. He will probably still wake up to nurse, maybe just not so often.

does he have gas? Is he constipated? try getting the lavender lotion and rubbing him down before bedtime. Don't let him sleep as much thrugh the day...wear him down by keeping him awake, or shorter naps during the daytime.
