900 Hundred years ago there would have been a differance , now we are all mixed up it is very hard to tell by looks alone. In the West of Ireland there are a lot of Black Haired People said to Descend from Survivors of the Shipwrecked Spanish Armada who stayed and intermarried with the Irish who lived there. In Donegal there are a lot of Red Haired People who are like the Scotish People With Red Hair. The rest of us have a mixture of Celtic Viking Norman and English and have a Pale Sallow Skin. Traditionally the People of the Western part of Ireland is more Racially Pure including Donegal.

Its the same as asking if people from Eire look different to the people from Ulster. Of course they do, talk different, believe differently etc.I think Eire( Irish) people are also very different from Scottish people and English. Totally. Ulster people however are very similar in looks and beliefs and culture. Probably because of the Britishness of them.

about 60% of Australians are predominately of anglo-saxon-celtic-germanic origins and about yet another 10% completely mediterranean - there is probably about yet another 15% or so as that's mixed ecu without high-quality line between Northern or Southern. we do no longer have many eastern Europeans. From what I see, your uncomplicated Australian is white, has gentle brown, medium brown or darkish brown hair and both blue or brown eyes. i have self assurance, from our census, celtic origins are easily larger than anglo-saxon - more desirable human beings claiming Scottish, Irish and Welsh ancestry than English. Australians are really more desirable celtic i might want to assert inspite of the better saxon impact in the course of the last 60 years. i do not recognize.
