I guess my question is aimed at men..but of course I am no way gender bias. I have been gone on alot of dates with mostly bunch of power players or wanna be ones. Sex was always amazing but when I through then a bit of competition during conversation, sharing ideas, style, family, personal values and of course sex ..the relastionship fades away. Why? I told this one guy that I am not going to be a doggy on a dash board because he claims that I am not submissive enough but he said he doesn't want a woman who is too submissive. Can't we all just get along

He did'nt break up with you because you are not or too submissive. He found a woman who was better looking than you, that would go out with him. If a woman is pretty enough, a guy will learn to appreciate all the little idiosyncracies that make her special. You cant base your opinion of yourself on something a man has told you.

I think most men consider overly agressive females as desperate. If you are dating "players" then you have to know that they are out to score. Remember, we can only notch the bedpost once for each chick. A relationship is an entirely different thing. Maybe you are a "lion tamer" and thats how you get your kicks. I would suggest that you find a guy who really digs you for YOU. Remember sex is just friction. Whether it's great or not is just what is going on inside your head.

We're not "afraid" it's just irritating, constantly butting heads with someone just like yourself. Men don't want bossy women for the same reason women don't won't bossy men. There's a ying & yang to relationship. Men like to "feel" in control but we want a woman there who's got our back. The woman runs the show, she plans and coordinates events. The man just wants to know where to stand and for how long. Guys are like big dumb dogs. Feed us and love us and let us pretend to pull the leash...then we'll be all yours!

Most guys want ......well...most people want an easy way when it comes to just about everything, especially relationships.
Men don't want to deal with struggles, so the first sign of struggle, they flee. They're emotionally weaker, I suppose, in this way.
It could also be that what you believe in doesn't exactly match what they believe in. Conflicts like this is common and those who match your characteristics will stay, those who don't will leave.
I wouldn't change yourself for others. Just be you. There's no point in changing who you are just to please someone else.

it depends on what you mean by "aggressive".
most men don't want his woman to be a cowering submissive slave with no personality, but we also don't want her to be a bossy, nagging, rude, self centered, controlling ***** either which unfortunately describes today's "aggressive" women.
the particular guy you mentioned who wants you to be submissive obviously has an inferiority complex and a woman who lets him kick her around would be his ideal to stroke his ego.

I'm not. I like strong women. I would rather be with someone who will stand with me & not behind me. Having a relationship in which both people can support, learn from and have faith in each other is an awsome thing. Hopefully, someday it will happen ...

I like aggressive women and feminine men. My girlfriend is very aggressive, not to the point that I'm her slave but she makes her opinion known and she's very strong willed, which is why I love her.
