the boat is good for $1000. if the engine is a '79, it's only worth the same. if it's newer, maybe more. go to "nadaguides.com".

depends on the abuse it took in the past 25 years. Thats a lot of pounding in that time... How is the gel coat? was it kept out of the UV or was it just tied to a dock?

I haven't seen a Hydrostream from that age without serious cracking and repairs to the transom and where the motor mounts. I would pay a thousand for the motor could be worth twice that, but you couldn't pay me to take the hull unless it was near perfect.

Depends on where you are as to what will sell... Some areas people will always pay too much, other areas the seller never get's what it is worth. If you can find a high price area within a couple hours drive of where the boat is, advertise it there!
