There is no number of years. It is only successful if you're happy. Even if you stay in an unhappy marriage for whatever reasons. It's not successful unless you love each other.

A marriage is successful until it becomes unsuccessful.
Unsuccessful doesn't always mean divorce- It can mean staying together for life and being miserable too

your marriage success is based on your relationship, you could be happily married a year and have a better marriage then someone who has been unhappily married for 10 years .
my husband and i have been happily married for almost 20 years, but we have watched many many friends in our life together , divorce and marry several times to our one,
communication, love , trust, and respect is key for a successfull marriage, no matter how long you have been together

Only after it has ended in the death of one of them. I've seen long-term marriages end in divorce, and also marriages stay together for decades when it clearly wasn't working. It's all different.

Never really thought of that because I dont believe in divorce. So I guess I would say from day 1. me and my husband were both raised that divorce is a sin so its really not an option for us.
