You have to ask yourself more questions of how are the ways you like this guy. Since he has mentioned to you that he likes you only as a friend, it indicates that it is still an early stage. There are lots more to be explored with regards to his status to other friends and yours too. If you go too fast you will be hurt, as relationship has to be developed. It would be good for you to be a friend of him and try to know more about each other. It is fine for you to feel wanting to be attractive to him and have more activities together but you need at the same time widen your options for friendship. This in turn would help you to make the right choice.

I think that the best way is to tell him how you feel towards him instead of saying "I like him" because it seems very vague. So, what you probably want to do is be more specific; at the same time, you would want to be more straight foward.
Another option is to get to know him better; like going to amuzement parks, and doing activities together so that you guys know eachother better.

well it takes a while for a relation ship to build and don't feel bad if he doesn't like u more than a friend....doesn't mean he won't like u in the future....hold off for a little bit...let it grow....then maybe he'll like u more than a friend

most of the time you can't. there is really nothing you can do. its a way of life. i meann, you can try to hit on him, and flirt with him, but then again you could risk losing him as a friend. so really the choice is yours. i would tell him how you feel inside.

It's bad to think of such situation where you have to find waya for him to love you? well can't you find other han your friend?It's a sort of stupidity if you'll try insisting with that silly feelings.

well this has acctually happened to me before and what i did was keep flirting and giving him hints and finally realized that he acctually liked me and we started going out
