I am curious, since it must have been plenty, since the Democrats cut off funding for that war.

No answer from a liberal. Not surprising, truth is to a Liberal what a crucifix is to Count Dracula.

We lost the Vietnam War because of actions of
the Democrats. Then when our soldiers came
home, they were spat upon by hippies, liberals,
and all anti-war skunks.

We lost the most important one: the battle for the hearts and minds of the Vietnamese. That was the only one that ever mattered. Without that one, the war was completely unwinable.
The US was never able to promote a native regime that had the respect or support of the locals.

We won every battle, even the Tet Offensive, and dropped more bombs on North Vietnam than we did on Germany and Japan.

Don't know for sure.
Well, it was LBJ who ramped up our presence there. Nixon pulled our troops, then the Dems ended all aid to South Vietnam in 1974

Armies don't lose battles in a gurrilla war. They lose soldiers, morale, and local support of the people (in this case the Vietnamese people), but they don't lose battles.
Well, excuse me for not giving you a number. It's zero. I didn't give you a number, because it was clear to me that you already knew the answer. Instead, I explained why all of the battles we were victorious in were irrelevant. What Ho said was right, he was happy killing one for every ten that we killed.

None, until Walter Cronkite said the war was lost.
Then we just gave up.

As some of the Vets say: We were winning when we left. It is sad for the Vets that it s the civilians who lost the war for them after the hell that they had been through. Thanks Hanoi Jane!

tHE DEMS WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CUTTING OFF THE FUNDS, THE PEOPLE WERE SICK OF THE WAR IT WAS NONE OF OUR BUSINESS, IT WAS A CIVIL WAR AND WE HAD NO BUSINESS BEING THERE. WE LOST SO MANY MEN. IT WOULD NOT BE TOLORATED TODAY. THE REPUBLICANS AND THEIR BUDDIES MADE PLENTY OFF THAT WAR. SAME OLD THING AS IN IRAQ
