is not ana's last name smith daniel's biological dad's last name?
did daniel not also leave a will or have any children.surely every son love's their dad and would want to make him a beneficiary to all his worldly posessionslike a bat,ball,glove,utility knife,or money.

Since Daniel died before his mom, all his claims to the estate became void. However, I would think any of his possessions, if he didn't have a will, would be divided between his parents.

Billy Wayne Smith, who was Daniel's biological father still lives here in Mexia and has not seen Daniel since he was 6 years old. Anna had custody of Daniel, and due to her estrangement from her family here, they have not mainted a relationship with any of the family members in Texas...including his father. Since Daniel died at 20, I do not think he had a will, but due to the fact that Anna maintained custody of him she was left with any assets he may have acquired. It has not been reported or disclosed whether or not his father received anything from Daniel's assets, but I do know a memorial service was held for him here in Mexia, and I know his father and family members attended the service.
