My motherboard got struck by lightning and I send it to intel center got done. it took me two months to recieve back, afgter i got it i couldn't shutdown. every time i shutdown it restarting again and i have to hold the shutdown button to turn it off. i already formatted it twice but the problem its still there. Any ideas?

Go to Start | Control Panel | Power Options. On the Power Options Properties screen select the advanced tab. Under the Power Button heading it says: When I press the power button on my computer... it should say "Shut Down". That may help.

Hi. There is a jumper on some motherboards called a "WOL", or Wake On Lan. This will restart the computer if it gets a signal. Best bet is to send it back.

Well , Mine does that sometimes, actually for the past 2yrs.I just unplug my pc :D

Go to your My computer icon, RIGHT click, go to properties, go to advanced, and go to start up and recovery.
