I hate it when people say they'll give it to charity! I give as much as i can to charity myself but £1000 isn't really that much nowadays and once you think about spending it on paying off bills and stuff there would be nothing left!
All the people who said charity must either be rich or young so have no bills or overdrafts or daily running of a family to contend with!! If i could give it to charity i really would!! But i have to keep my head above water somehow! And I'm actually quite good with money really!
(and before people give me thumbs down I'm taking part in a bungee jump for prostate cancer in the summer and have already organised several charity events over the last couple of years including sky diving and hair shaving so i am a charitable person really!!)

I would use it to visit my daughter and grandchildren in Australia. They emmigrated recently because my son-in-law was made redundant here in UK and only job offer he had was in Sydney. My daughter is desperately unhappy and lonely as she has never even visited Australia before and is finding so hard to make friends. I don't know when I will see them again so £1000 would be wonderful - if only!

I would share some of the cash with my family. For myself I would like a pedicure, I've never had one of those, then a facial, and a manicure. Then I would like some one to spring clean my home, it is quite clean and uncluttered, but I would like a break from cleaning, and the cash might help someone.

Seeing as i got a nasty letter off the band yesterday telling me that I'm hideously overdrawn, paying that off! Might get a nice meal out and a new ipod out of the cash too though...
